Professor Dan M. Fliss has been nominated as Chairman of the Division of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and is a scientific staff member of the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto and The University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is also a teaching and visiting professor in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and delivered the highly regarded Eugene N. Myers International Lecture on Head and Neck Cancer in 2008. Professor Fliss is a past president of The Israel Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He is an editorial board member of several prestigious journals, including Head and Neck and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and is on the review board of six further journals. He is the author of some 160 clinical and scientific articles and 18 chapters in textbooks.
Dr. Ziv Gil is Associate Professor, Director of the Laboratory for Applied Cancer Research, and Director of the Head and Neck Surgery Unit at the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv University. He has received various awards, including the Israeli Cancer Society Merit Award, the New York Head and Neck Society Merit Award, and the Landau Prize. Dr. Gil is an editorial board member on
Skull Base Surgery Journal and Open Otolaryngology Journal. He is the author of more than 100 scientific articles and book chapters.
