Author Information
Carlos A. Risco is Professor at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology.
Pedro Melendez is Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
Both editors have been recognized for their contribution to the dairy industry as teachers, researchers and speakers in local and international seminars pertaining to dairy production medicine. For a number of years they have offered a pre-convention seminar in transition dairy cow management at the American Association of Bovine Practitioners.
