The second edition uses a similar approach to that of the first edition. That is, the evidence is examined and application to the clinical setting discussed. In the first edition, the paradigm of contemporary physiotherapy practice was explored. In the second edition, more detailed information is presented about the explicit and implicit assumptions which form the basis of current practice.
Reviews
"This book is a must for undergraduate libraries and for clinicians wishing
to update their approach to clinical decision-making"
-- Review of First Edition , Therapy Weekly, December 1995
"This is an excellent book which I highly recommend to anyone who is serious
about manipulative therapy. It makes a very valuable contribution to manipulative
therapy knowledge by evaluating clinical practice in light of scientific knowledge"
-- Physiotherapy, March 1996
