Kristina A. Bryant, MD, is Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, at the University of Louisville and the healthcare epidemiologist at Norton Children's Hospital. She is President-Elect of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and the PIDS liaison to the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America Board of Trustees. Since December 2016, she has served as a member of the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC), a federal advisory committee that provides advice and guidance to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding strategies for surveillance and prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections in United States health care facilities.
Judith A. Guzman-Cottrill, DO, is Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Disease, at the Oregon Health & Science University and an infection prevention and healthcare epidemiology consultant for the Oregon Health Authority's HAI Program, where she serves as the Medical Director for Ebola and Emerging Pathogen Preparedness. Dr. Guzman-Cottrill is the owner and founder of Owner at Infection Prevention Consulting of Oregon, LLC. She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America Board of Trustees and Chair of the the SHEA Pediatric Leadership Council Steering Committee.
